What Do You Have To Say?
How to finish what you start
Hi Friend đź‘‹
Today is my last day in office this year before I going on my annual holiday break. Taking this time off helps me regroup, recover, and recharge after a roller coaster of a year. It’s a chance to reflect on what’s happened and think about what’s next.
Even though I’ll be unplugged from work over the next few weeks, my letters to you will continue. Sharing with you one simple question each time. These questions help me reflect on my journey and might help you do the same.
I hope you’ve had a great year, and I can’t wait to continue our conversations in the new year.

What Do You Have To Say?
An idea often starts with a single sentence, an image or a conversation. But moving from that inspiration to something worth sharing is where many of us get stuck. You can see it in my endless notes filled with project ideas. So many starting points, but often no clear finish line.
While the spark is there, what’s missing is the conclusion. What is the point you are trying to make? What is it that you have to say?
At the moment my answer to this is still developing. Every video I create and every season I finish, I getting me a little bit closer. Reminding me that the message always reveals itself from a combination of thinking and doing.
So for the next weeks give yourself the space for one or the other, maybe both. If you’ve been mulling over an idea all year—create a shitty first draft. If you’ve been toiling away at a project—take a break simply doing nothing. Or find someone you trust to talk things through.
Each step bringing you closer to something worth sharing.
