What if you are already doing the right thing?

That was the title of a newsletter Nathan Barry sent out a few months ago and just like him it struck me. Maybe I’m already doing everything right and all that’s missing is a bit of patience and time.

I pride myself on being a patient person but honestly when it comes to building a community and a channel I’ve been looking for shortcuts. Always hoping the next conversation would unlock a a flood of subscribers, engagement and revenue.

More often than not what we need is not a silver bullet but simply to stick to what we do. Put in the work, refine the process, and stay consistent.

As the year is still young give yourself some time and ask yourself.
